At a meeting held 24,July 2011 an agreement was reached and documents appertaining to such were signed by both the GSDL AND BAGSD respective Chairpersons setting out the format for selecting the IPO team to represent GREAT BRITAIN at future WUSV World Championship events. With the best interests of the sport in mind the WUSV earlier this year issued a directive that selection for such a team should be by a joint trial run by both organizations with the best five dogs going forward. After lengthy negotiations we have reached an amicable agreement, which should ensure a fair and level playing field for all participants regardless of their affiliation and hopefully help to raise both the standard and the profile of the team going forward to represent Great Britain within the WUSV. Lets hope this is the first step in progressing with the furtherance of the sport, which can only be achieved by working together in harmony.
